Here is the newest installment from Oregon-Filmer, Justin Shreeve. He’s hands down of the most talented dudes on this coast, and I can’t wait to see him grow.

Here is his film from the most recent Invite Only day at Evergreen Speeday.

Exciting news!

With the 2010 season underway, and obviously the drivers and the local events are bigger and better than ever, we’ve decided that we need to grow as well.

As nice as WordPress is, and how easy it is for us to post photos for all of you and have event info, we’re ready for a change.

Kenneth and I are in the process of putting together the ideas and design for a brand new MakeItRain website. This will be a full on new fresh start with many more options for not only us, but you the reader as well.

We will keep you updated with progress and junk, but big things are on the horizon!!!

Earl Smith on his game in the Drift Office S13 Hatch

Yesterday was the invitational that everyone had been waiting a while for. It was a chance to let drivers test their new set ups before the season started and to also show off all their hard work. As with all new thing there are bound to be problems; from what I can remember there were two fires, two wrecks, and a lot of broken parts.

AWFilms just posted up another video, give it a watch and bask in its glory.

Hey you! Yes you…. do you wanna drift?

Posted in Events on 03/07/2010 by Kenneth

I am sure many of you have been working on getting a car, building it up, and now want to learn how to drift. Well lucky for you the date SCCA Drift school as officially been posted up, April 18th. Mark it down on your calendars! I attended the drift school two years ago when it was the very first one that the SCCA put on, and I HIGHLY recommend that you attend if you are willing to learn and want someone who has a lot of experience guiding you along throughout the day. As soon as registration is opened I will be sure to make another post with a link so you can make sure to secure your spot in the school.

Shits going to be rowdy!

A.W. Films just posted this video up. Its not that long and isn’t filled with a bunch of editing but I dig it. Watching it got me even more exited for this next drift season to start.

This year should be one to remember. With so many hungry driver’s going for their Formula D license, to the guys who made it last year (Congrats Roland, Nikolay, Ian, and Victor). I’m really looking forward to see how people throw down this year.

I thank Kenneth for making a post on this again. Its really hard for us to even have content to post during the winter, because as you know, in Washington, we only get to drift half the year, unlike California. Luckily, like Kenneth said, everybody has been busy and there are going to be a lot of new cars and cars with new hearts this year.

Let’s make this the best year of drifting this state has ever seen. I’m really looking forward to seeing everybody again, its gonna be rad.
